THE PROGRAMS

The Greater Phoenix Chamber Foundation is accepting applications for Virtual Technology & Cybersecurity Externships, now through December 17.

The Externships are structured, two-week training programs that will draw students from around the state. Externs will attend employer-hosted sessions to learn about:  technology and cybersecurity topics, career pathways, and required skills.  Intended to foster meaningful professional relationships between employers and emerging talent, the programs will improve participants' abilities to enter the local workforce.

Arizona's technology sector is booming, and future talent is needed to protect the industry's presence here.  While exploring this local ecosystem, participants will execute, and present, a team research project.  Professional development opportunities—including the development of interview skills, and resume building—will also be explored.

Corporate participants are from a diverse range of industries, and include well-known names such as:
â€¢ Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona
   â€¢ Deloitte
   â€¢ eBacon
   â€¢ Equality Health
   â€¢ Freeport-McMoran
