Celebrate the Accomplishments of 独家爆料's Graduating Class
Graduates, it's time to apply for the honor of serving as the 2025 Commencement Student Speaker!
DEADLINE
Apply no later than Sat, April 5, 2025, through the online application form.
The ceremony will take place at 7 pm on Thurs, May 8, 2025, at the ASU Desert Financial Arena.
REQUIREMENTS
Interested students must possess the following qualifications:
- Good academic, and disciplinary, standing
- Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
- On track to graduate in May 2025; and, committed to participate in the spring commencement ceremony, 5/8/25
The following speech criteria will be used by the selection committee to judge applications:
- Content, and its connection to the theme making your post-graduation dreams a reality, and how you plan to share your passions with the world.
- Organization
- Length (must be able to deliver the speech in around 3 minutes)
- Appropriateness for representing the Class of 2025
FINALISTS & STUDENT SPEAKER
Finalists will be contacted to schedule an audition time when they'll present their speeches to the selection committee.
If you're selected as a student speaker, you'll be expected to rehearse鈥攁nd if necessary, revise鈥攜our speech with a faculty mentor from the communication department.
