Dental Assisting
¶À¼Ò±¬ÁÏ's Dental Assisting program offers interactive dental assistant courses accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. Think classes covering oral and maxillofacial surgery clinical practice to the radiography laboratory.
Students get actual experience at ¶À¼Ò±¬ÁÏ. You’ll learn how to operate dental equipment, handle x-rays, take tooth impressions, and perform clinical procedures. ¶À¼Ò±¬ÁÏ offers an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Dental Assisting as well as a Certificate of Completion (CCL) — and both prepare students for the Dental Assisting National Board Certification Exam. Graduates may go on to work in the field of general dentistry or in special practices like orthodontics, periodontics, and children's dentistry.

Dental Hygiene
For those seeking an established program, the Dental Hygiene program at ¶À¼Ò±¬ÁÏ has been around since 1968. The four-semester Dental Hygiene program offers courses in dental, head, and neck anatomy, prevention of dental disease, oral pathology, and anesthesia. Laboratories are also offered in dental radiography and dental materials.
¶À¼Ò±¬ÁÏ offers an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Dental Hygiene. Graduates may go on to sit for the National Dental Hygiene Board exam, and work as a licensed dental hygienist.
