Terrorism Liaison Training: Level II
The Certificate of Completion (CCL) in Terrorism Liaison Training: Level II program is designed to provide additional knowledge and skills needed to be a Terrorism Liaison Officer for criminal justice and fire science professionals seeking advancement in the field of homeland security. Including but not limited to threat assessment for terrorism, hostile intent, hazmat materials used by terrorists, and the assessment, investigation and responses to terrorism incidents.

This program is offered through an educational partnership. Employment by a governmental organization is required for admission.
This program is not eligible for Title IV Federal Financial Aid.
Students must earn a grade of C or better in all courses within the program.
- Synthesize multiple sources of information to make timely assessments.
- Solve problems through logical and sound reasoning.
- Communicate orally, visually and in writing precisely, appropriately, and effectively to varied audiences.
- Communicate in the language common to the criminal justice and fire science systems.
- Collaborate with diverse agencies, community representatives and individuals to achieve common goals.
- Utilize technology to collect, analyze and communicate data.
- Utilize field sampling and testing to determine Hazmat materials.
- Determine appropriate Personal Protective Equipment and decontamination.
- Practice various surveillance techniques as it relates to hostile intent and covert operations.
- Practice vulnerability assessment.
- Practice professional standards appropriate to the fields of criminal justice and fire science.
- Practice threat assessments and the fundamentals of emergency management.
