Domestic Violence

独家爆料 - Domestic Violence Month - Participate in Awareness Events

Domestic Violence is Everyone's Problem.

Raising awareness will remove it from the shadows.

Domestic Violence manifests itself as psychological, physical and sexual attacks, often destroying a victim's independence.

In the U.S., 1 in 4 women, and 1 in 9 men, have been manipulated by an abusive partner or family member.  In other words, you likely know someone who has been abused in this way, or have even experienced it yourself.

For over 30 years, Domestic Violence Awareness Month has helped Americans understand that this abuse of power, and trust, isn't simply a "family problem."   Its consequences are felt outside the home, as well.  Student Life and Leadership is hosting a series of events to discuss the problem.
